About the Business
Culture2 Tech Pty Ltd is a Sydney-based food distribution business specialising in premium fresh produce, agricultural products, specialty groceries and cold-chain supply. The business supplies retail customers, wholesale clients and selected export markets through local farms, suppliers and digital retail channels.
We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to manage our purchasing, supplier relationships, stock planning and procurement strategy as the business continues to expand.
Key Duties
The Procurement Manager will be responsible for:
- Planning and managing procurement, purchasing and supplier strategies.
- Sourcing fresh produce, agricultural products, FMCG and specialty food items from local and overseas suppliers.
- Negotiating prices, supply terms, delivery schedules and product quality requirements with suppliers.
- Preparing purchasing plans to maintain required stock levels while controlling costs.
- Monitoring inventory, stock movement, seasonal demand and reorder timing.
- Reviewing supplier performance, product quality, pricing and delivery reliability.
- Coordinating with warehouse, sales and delivery teams regarding stock availability and customer demand.
- Maintaining accurate purchasing, stock and supplier records.
- Supporting business growth through improved procurement systems, cost control and supply planning.
- Reporting procurement performance, cost analysis and supplier recommendations to the Director.
Essential Requirements
Applicants must have:
- At least 3 years of procurement, purchasing or supplier management experience in fresh produce, agricultural products, FMCG, grocery, food distribution or other perishable goods.
- Strong knowledge of product sourcing, supplier negotiation, inventory control and purchasing planning.
- Experience assessing product quality, freshness, pricing and delivery reliability.
- Strong numerical ability, cost awareness and attention to detail.
- Good data analysis skills, including the ability to review sales trends, stock movement, purchasing costs and supplier performance.
- Strong communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work full-time from the company’s Homebush West business location.

The following will be highly regarded:
- Accounting, commerce, business or finance-related educational background.
- Experience using purchasing, inventory, accounting or business reporting systems.
- Strong ability to analyse costs, margins, stock turnover and purchasing efficiency.
- Experience working with Australian farms, local wholesalers or overseas suppliers.
- Understanding of seasonal produce cycles and fresh food supply conditions.
- Experience with cold-chain, warehouse or food distribution operations.
- Mandarin language skills due to supplier and customer communication needs.
- Familiarity with WeChat-based ordering, group-buying or digital retail channels.
- Experience working in a small-to-medium business environment.
- Strong commercial judgement and ability to balance cost, quality, supply continuity and customer demand.
Pay: $100,000.00 – $130,000.00 per year
