About Us
Dee Den is a full-service casual fine dining restaurant in Buderim, offering modern Asian dishes with bold flavours and unexpected twists.
We’re after folks who are:
- Reliable, consistent, and detail-oriented
- Confident working in both fast-paced teams and solo shifts
- Experienced in busy, full-service kitchens (minimum 2 years)
- Skilled with a knife — we do a lot of prep, and precision matters
- Equipped with good common sense in the kitchen and understand the flow of service
- Open to learning and experimenting with new techniques and ingredients
- Bonus points if you love Asian cuisine
Your Responsibilities, Depending on your experience, you’ll be expected to:
- Prep and cook a range of modern Asian dishes to spec and within service time
- Follow standard recipes and plating guidelines to maintain consistency
- Maintain a clean and organised section throughout prep and service
- Manage stock rotation and communicate low stock or prep needs
- Follow all food safety and hygiene protocols
- Assist with daily prep tasks, including sauces, garnishes, and protein portioning
- Communicate clearly with FOH during service to keep things running smoothly
- Help with cleaning duties and closing kitchen at the end of shift
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team and support other sections as needed
