Group IT provides technology strategy, governance, delivery, and support for all of Toll. The team enable Toll with the right technology foundations and business systems to grow the business and support our customer needs.
About the role
As SAP Security Architect, you will define and govern the end‑to‑end SAP security architecture across Toll’s UNO program, with a strong finance‑first focus on SAP S/4HANA. You will embed security‑by‑design, ensure audit‑ready assurance, and enable cyber‑resilient SAP operations across SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP and integrated enterprise platforms. This role plays a key part in shaping Toll’s future‑state SAP security roadmap, standards and guardrails while partnering closely with finance, risk, audit and delivery teams.
A day in the life of a SAP Security Architect at Toll Group
- Define and own the SAP security architecture covering IAM, authorisations, SoD and data protection
- Establish SAP security standards, reference architectures and future‑state roadmaps
- Provide security governance and architectural assurance across the UNO program
- Partner with finance, risk and audit teams to ensure controls are audit‑ready
- Lead SAP data protection, cyber resilience and operational security design
- Support delivery teams through security design reviews and assurance checkpoints
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline
- Master’s degree will be well regarded
- SAP security‑related qualifications preferred
- Security or architecture certifications such as CISSP, CISM or TOGAF preferred
- Ability to work across multiple time zones when required
Skills & experience
- Deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA security architecture, particularly in finance environments
- Strong knowledge of SAP IAM, roles, authorisations and segregation of duties
- Experience embedding security‑by‑design in large ERP transformation programs
- Strong understanding of SAP BTP, integration and cloud security principles
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, documentation and governance capability
- Ability to translate complex security requirements into pragmatic solutions
