About the Role
Mizaan Mandi and Kebabs is seeking an experienced and reliable Kebabs Shop Worker who can hit the ground running from day one. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience preparing kebabs and working in a fast-paced takeaway or restaurant environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble kebabs, wraps, and related menu items to a high standard
- Operate kebab machines (doner/shawarma spits) safely and efficiently
- Handle food prep including slicing meat, preparing salads, and sauces
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in accordance with food safety regulations
- Serve customers and take orders (if required)
- Support general shop operations during busy periods
Requirements
- ✅ Proven experience working in a kebab shop or similar fast-food environment
- ✅ Ability to independently prepare kebabs from day one
- ✅ Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
- ✅ Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a team
- ✅ Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
- ✅ Immediate start available
- ✅ Must have working rights in Australia
- ✅ Experience with Middle Eastern cuisine is a plus
