Espresso Lane is looking for an organised and reliable Operations Assistant to help support our growing drive-thru coffee business.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys the hospitality industry but is looking for more regular, family-friendly hours.
This is a varied role combining office administration with operational support.
You'll help keep our stores organised behind the scenes while occasionally visiting our locations to provide support, training or assist with operational tasks when required.
Most of your time will be office-based, with occasional travel between our office and stores.
Your Responsibilities
- Supporting the day-to-day operations of our cafés.
- Assisting with staff rostering and workforce planning.
- Helping maintain operational systems and procedures.
- Updating documents, checklists and training records.
- Assisting with stock ordering and supplier coordination.
- Supporting store managers with general administration.
- Monitoring operational standards and following up where required.
- Responding to general staff enquiries.
- Occasionally visiting stores to provide operational support.
We're Looking For Someone Who
- Has previous experience managing or supervising a café, drive-thru or fast-food business.
- Understands how busy hospitality environments operate.
- Is highly organised and able to manage multiple tasks.
- Has excellent communication skills.
- Enjoys supporting and developing others.
- Is confident using computers and Microsoft Office.
- Holds a current driver's licence and has reliable transport.
- Can travel between our office and stores when required.
Highly Regarded
While not essential, experience in any of the following will be highly regarded:
- Drive-thru café operations.
- Coffee industry experience.
- McDonald's, Hungry Jack's, Starbucks, Guzman y Gomez or similar high-volume hospitality environments.
- Staff rostering.
- Training new team members.
- Inventory or stock management.
