Job Description
The Role
We’re looking for a Risk Governance & Reporting Analyst to join NobleOak on a 12‑month fixed-term contract, supporting the delivery of key risk management and governance activities across the business.
Working closely with the Head of Risk, you’ll play an important Line 2 role helping to maintain our Risk Management Framework, support governance processes, and contribute to high-quality enterprise risk reporting.
This role also supports a major business initiative on the life company transition, with a focus on coordinating regulatory engagement and licensing activities with APRA and ASIC.
This is a hands-on, varied role suited to someone who enjoys working across frameworks, reporting, policy governance and regulatory engagement in a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
Supporting the maintenance of the Risk Management Framework and related documentation.
Assisting with drafting, reviewing and governing policies to ensure consistency and regulatory alignment.
Coordinating governance processes across ExCo, SteerCo’s and Board Committee cycles.
Supporting regulatory engagement with APRA and ASIC, including submissions and tracking requirements.
Monitoring regulatory developments and helping track required changes.
Supporting incident management processes, including reporting and documentation.
Maintaining risk registers, matrices and supporting documentation.
Assisting with risk reporting for ExCo, Project Balon SteerCo, Board Committees.
Supporting internal and external audit activities and tracking remediation actions.
Contributing to risk and regulatory uplift initiatives and continuous improvement activities.
Supporting risk culture initiatives, training and stakeholder engagement across the business.
Desired Skills and Experience
What You Bring
2–4 years’ experience in risk, governance or compliance within financial services
Working knowledge of risk and compliance frameworks and Line 2 activities
Experience supporting risk assessments, control monitoring, or reporting
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality and accuracy
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships across the business
Proactive, hands-on approach with a focus on continuous improvement
Experience with GRC systems and risk reporting tools (desirable)
Exposure to APRA/ASIC or AFSL regulatory requirements (desirable)
