For the very first time ever, we're bringing Australia's favourite frozen yogurt experience to Tasmania, and we're looking for an exceptional Venue General Manager to lead the launch!

About the Role
This isn't just another venue leadership role. It's an opportunity to be part of Yo-Chi history. You'll play a key role in opening the doors, building an incredible team from the ground up, creating unforgettable guest experiences, and establishing the 'CHI' in a brand new market.
As Venue General Manager, you'll lead from the front, inspire a high-performing team, and take ownership of every aspect of venue success. From creating an amazing culture to driving operational excellence and commercial results, you'll be empowered to make a real impact from day one.

What you’ll be doing
- Lead by example – deliver outstanding guest experiences and set the standard for your team.
- Coach & inspire – motivate and develop your team to reach their full potential.
- Drive standards – uphold excellence in service, quality, safety, and presentation.
- Financial accountability – drive performance by managing labour, COGS, and P&L to deliver strong results.
- Own operations – take full responsibility for all venue operations, including rostering, stock management, cash handling, and compliance.
- Build culture – recruit, train, and retain top talent, fostering a positive, high-performing team.
- Community focus – connect with the local area through events and partnerships to grow the Yo-Chi love.

What we’re looking for
- Proven leadership experience managing hospitality, retail, or QSR venues
- Confident in managing financial performance including labour, COGS, budgets, and P&L.
- Availability across a flexible Monday to Sunday rotating roster
- Highly organised, adaptable and thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Passionate about people, culture, and creating memorable guest experiences.
The exciting part
You'll set the standard, build something special from the ground up, and create a venue the Hobart community can't wait to come back to.
To set you up for success ahead of the Hobart opening, this role will require approximately 4 weeks of paid training in Melbourne, VIC prior to launch. Travel and accommodation support will be provided.
