About the Opportunity
Are you a compassionate individual looking to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors? We are seeking a dedicated Home Care Worker to join our team on a casual basis.
In this role, you will be the backbone of our service, helping our clients continue to live safely and independently in their own homes. Please note that while we provide holistic support, the primary focus of this position is domestic assistance and house cleaning.
Service Areas: We provide support across a wide range of suburbs within Melbourne’s eastern and south-eastern metropolitan regions, including (but not limited to):
- Rowville
- Ringwood
- Cranbourne
- Narre Warren
- Frankston
- ...and surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Domestic Support: Deliver high-quality cleaning and household maintenance to ensure a safe, hygienic, and comfortable environment for our clients.
- Client Wellbeing: Support clients with daily living activities, ensuring they feel empowered, valued, and respected within their own homes.
What We Are Looking For
We value candidates who are reliable, empathetic, and organised. To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- Language Skills: Fluency in Filipino (Required).
- Compliance: A current National Police Check and First Aid/CPR certification and other aged care industry requirements (or a willingness to obtain these prior to commencement).
- Licensing: Current valid Driver’s License (Preferred).
- Experience: Previous experience in aged care, home care, or community services is highly desirable.
- Values: A genuine passion for person-centred care, cultural sensitivity, and a commitment to maintaining client confidentiality.
