About Us
We are a leading basement and concrete construction company delivering complex commercial and residential projects across Melbourne. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Construction Surveyor to join our team and play a key role in the successful delivery of our projects.
The Role
We are looking for a skilled Construction Surveyor with 5–7 years of industry experience to undertake site surveying, set-out works, and provide accurate spatial data to support construction activities. The successful candidate will work closely with project managers, and site supervisors to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and accurately.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform set-out, measurements, offsets, and RL’s for:
- Building footprint
- Piles, capping beam, shotcrete wall
- Footings and excavation
- Slabs, rebates, set-downs, steps, thickenings
- Blinding, reinforcement, starter bars, formwork
- Columns, walls, and stairs
- Suspended slabs, soffits, beams
- Any other concrete insitu element within scope
- Conduct as-built surveys.
- Operate and maintain surveying equipment including total stations, GPS, and laser levels.
- Verify dimensions, levels, and positions throughout construction works.
- Interpret engineering and construction drawings.
- Liaise with project managers and site teams to ensure survey accuracy.
- Process and manage survey data using relevant software.
- Ensure all survey activities comply with project specifications and safety requirements.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- 5–7 years of experience as a Construction Surveyor.
- Relevant qualification in Surveying, or a related discipline.
- Experience working on concrete, basement, civil, or commercial construction projects.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Current Australian driver's licence.
- Experienced in using surveying tools and equipment, such as Total Stations.
