About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our Business Services team. This is a great opportunity for someone with Australian public practice experience who enjoys working directly with clients, delivering high-quality accounting and taxation services, and mentoring junior team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review financial statements and income tax returns
- Prepare BAS, IAS and FBT returns
- Prepare journals, reconciliations and working papers
- Liaise with clients and the ATO
- Assist with tax planning and compliance matters
- Provide support and guidance to junior team members
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Ensure work is completed accurately and within agreed deadlines
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with an Accounting major
- Completed or partially completed CA/CPA studies
- 4+ years' experience in Australian public accounting
- Strong knowledge of Australian taxation and accounting principles
- Experience with Xero, MYOB or QuickBooks is highly regarded
- Excellent communication, organisational and client management skills
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines

Pay: $80,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
