Details: Under the broad direction of the Senior Director you will:

Lead and manage the delivery of digital health group projects by providing project management advice, direction and support to ensure effective and efficient delivery of projects within agreed tolerances.

Ensure that projects are managed in accordance with established frameworks, processes, templates and tools to ensure appropriate governance, oversight and responsible management of projects and resources.

Lead and manage the planning and implementation of assigned projects; facilitate definition of project scope, budgets, goals and deliverables, and ensure that all relevant stakeholders are identified and engaged during the planning, design and delivery phases of the project.

Ensure that business need is clearly articulated and mapped to agreed benefits to support effective organisational change management and technical delivery.

Provide high level project management advice and support to Project Sponsors, and all areas of the ACT Health system as required, in relation to DHG led projects.

Effectively engage and communicate with all relevant stakeholders, including management, clinical staff, technical staff and suppliers to support the delivery of projects and desired clinical and/or business outcomes.

Manage project documentation and records in accordance with records management legislation, including, but not limited to, official files and electronic file management systems (Objective).

Undertake other duties appropriate to this level of classification which contribute to the operation of the division.

This position may involve direct supervision of project or digital support staff, depending on the allocated projects.

Prior to commencement, the successful candidate will be required to undergo a pre-employment National Police Check.

The successful applicant must be an Australian citizen and possess or acquire and maintain an Australian Government Security Vetting Agency (AGSVA) security clearance at the Negative Vetting 1 (NV1) level as an eligibility qualification. If AGSVA screening is not successful, your employment will not commence or, if already commenced, your employment will be reassessed.
Note: This is a temporary position available for a period of up to 12 months with the possibility of extension and/or permanency. A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months. Selection may be based on application and referee reports only.
