As our Production Supervisor, you'll be at the heart of our operation, ensuring production flows efficiently, quality standards are met, and business goals are achieved. Through strong leadership, sound decision-making, and proactive problem-solving, you'll inspire and support your team to deliver outstanding results while helping shape the future success of the business.
What You’ll Do:
- Supervise and provide direction and guidance by leading, coaching and developing teamwork to accomplish operational objectives
- Ensure timely startup of daily production operations
- Responsible for monitoring and improvements associated with Cost Control (COGS)
- Implement quality control techniques and procedures to maintain acceptable quality levels for all products
- Identify, diagnose, and resolve operation, manufacturing and maintenance problems within defined deadlines
- Develop new procedures and processes to improve production efficiency
- Participate in the production planning process and implementing the production schedule
- Organise, plan and action daily cleaning regimes
- Ensure continued compliance regarding training and refresher training for employees
What You’ll Bring:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Previous exposure to a large, complex organisation (FMCG preferred)
- Proficient computer skills
- Ability to lead with sound knowledge and experience in team building
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Ability to work under pressure
- Good negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Experience with HACCP and GMP
- Certificate III in Food Processing (desirable)
