The College is seeking a Part-time, FTE 0.6, Student Services Officer to provide Student Services support as required to meet the day-to-day operational needs of the College.
In addition to Student Services, you may be required to provide general front-of-house administrative duties.

About the Role:
Student Services FTE 0.4 - ongoing, commencing immediately.
Duties for the Student Services Officer component of the role include, but are not limited to:
Attend to student enquiries at the Student Services Desk.
Manage daily attendance via SEQTA Attendance Administration.
Provide First Aid as required.
Duties for the General Administrative component of the role include, but are not limited to:
Provide General Administrative support that meets the day-to-day requirements of the College.
Represent The King’s College as the first point of contact in a professional, warm, friendly and efficient manner.
Management of phone calls and directing enquiries.
Mail and delivery distribution.
Recording EFTPOS and cash payments, banking.
General administrative duties as required.

Proven ability to communicate clearly and effectively with students, staff, families, and team members.
Exemplary customer service skills, with an engaging and articulate phone manner, and the ability to manage inquiries in a professional and friendly manner.
Experience in Administrative Duties:
Sound experience with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Outlook. Experience with SEQTA Teach an advantage.
Previous experience in a student services, reception or administrative role, preferably within an educational setting is desirable.
Ability to manage phone calls, direct inquiries, handle mail distribution, and perform general administrative duties efficiently.
Ability to Multitask and Work Autonomously:
Proven ability to remain calm and composed under pressure while managing multiple tasks.
Experience working autonomously as well as part of a team, with a high level of personal presentation and professionalism.
Commitment to Child Safety and Compliance Requirements:
Current Working with Children Check and National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain).
Adherence to child safety policies, and a commitment to maintaining a safe environment for students
A First Aid certificate is required for this role HLTAID012 Provide first aid in an education and care setting (training can be provided)
