Due to rapid growth of our business, we are looking for a positive and motivated Administrator with excellent communication skills to take ownership of this fast-paced, fun and challenging role.
This customer focused role is the core of our rental business; you will be an integral part of a small, yet hard working team.
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Manage equipment bookings and processing hire contracts.
- Process end to end hires and de-hires.
- Providing exceptional customer service with prompt and professional communication.
- Co-ordinate transport allocation for equipment deliveries and collections.
- Liaise with sales and service departments, ensuring equipment is ready for delivery
- Build and maintain strong customer/supplier relationships
- Create and process purchase orders
- Maintain customer accounts
- General ad-hoc office administration
We're seeking someone with strong attention to detail and a positive, can-do attitude. Ideally, you will bring:
- Proven experience in a hire/ rental coordinator or similar customer-focused administrative role, preferably within the equipment hire or logistics industry
- Brilliant communication skills, both written and verbal
- The ability to remain cool under pressure
- Sharp eye for detail and the ability to multitask and problem‑solve
- A fantastic opportunity to increase your knowledge and skill set in equipment hire/rentals and build great working relationships with suppliers, contractors and customers.
As a Rental Coordinator and Administrator, you can expect:
- Location: Smithfield – Close to Bus / T-way
- Work hours are 7:30am to 3:36pm, Monday to Friday (negotiable for the right applicant)
