Position: Full-Time Automotive Mechanic
Location: Perth, WA
Type: Full-Time (with view to permanency)
Rate:85k-95k annually
About the Role
We're looking for a reliable, skilled automotive mechanic to join the team at Nick's Auto Mechanics. You'll be working on a variety of makes and models — from log book servicing to diagnostics, minor repairs, and everything in between.
This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in their work, shows up on time, and knows how to get the job done right.
What You'll Be Doing
- Performing log book servicing and general maintenance
- Diagnosing faults using scan tools and handheld diagnostic equipment
- Carrying out repairs across brakes, suspension, engines, and auto electrical
- Maintaining a clean, organized workspace
- Must be able to read, write and speak English
Eligibility Criteria
To apply, you must:
- ✅ Hold a current WA Motor Vehicle Repair Certificate (or equivalent trade qualification)
- ✅ Hold a valid WA driver's licence (manual preferred)
- ✅ Have at least 2 years of hands-on mechanical experience
- ✅ Be able to work independently without supervision
- ✅ Provide a **valid National Police Clearance** (required before commencement)
- ✅ Have full-time availability (Saturday availability an advantage)
- ✅ Be eligible to work in Australia (valid visa with work rights)
Pay: $85,000.00 – $95,000.00 per year
