Our Senior's division is seeing amazing growth, and we are looking for people with qualifications in Individual support and experience who can take on short shifts to assist with personal care, domestic work and community access.
About the role:
Our Community Support Partners use a person-centred approach to assist our aged care clients to live independently within their own homes and communities. Our goal is to ensure client dignity, choice and to be able to live happier and healthier lives.
Location: Hornsby area
Classification: Casual
Days: Monday and Wednesday or Tuesday and Thursday or Wednesday and Friday
Hours: Mornings from 9am to 11am
Rate: SCHADS Award (Home Care) Level 3 and the KMs are reimburse for travel incurred between client homes.
What your days will look like:
- Achieve Goals Together: Implement individual care plans to help participants reach their goals.
- Care with Heart: Provide person centred care and ensure that every client is living with dignity, compassion, and respect. Assisting with personal care, domestic assistance and community access.
- Community Connection: Assist with community participation and foster meaningful social interactions.
- Stay Informed: Know participants' profiles what they can and cannot do and always being aware of the unknown.
- Positive Engagement: Interact positively with participants, families, carers, stakeholders, and team members.
About you:
- Current unrestricted NSW driver’s license and access to an insured vehicle.
- Cert III Individual Support (Ageing)
- Experience assisting clients with dementia
- Current First Aid and CPR
- Ability to travel, Km’s paid on travel between clients.
