The Role
As a Senior Veterinary Nurse, you will play a key leadership role within the nursing team, supporting both clinical operations and day-to-day clinic workflow. You will work closely with our veterinarians and nursing staff to ensure the highest standard of patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-level veterinary nursing care across all areas of the clinic
Lead and support junior nurses in their clinical development
Perform and oversee anaesthetic monitoring and surgical nursing
IV catheter placement, blood collection, and advanced patient care
Maintain accurate and thorough medical records
Ensure strict adherence to infection control and hospital cleanliness standards
Support client communication and education with professionalism and empathy
Assist in maintaining efficient clinic workflow and standards of care
About You
Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (essential)
Significant experience in veterinary nursing, ideally with senior or leadership exposure
Confident in all aspects of anaesthesia monitoring and surgical support
Strong clinical skills including IV catheter placement and venipuncture
Excellent communication and client relationship skills
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
Ability to lead by example and support a positive team culture
Calm, capable, and confident in a fast-paced environment
