Crop Shop Boutique (CSB) is a fast-growing Australian e-commerce brand redefining athleisure since its launch in 2019 by Rachel Dillon. With a mission to empower women worldwide, CSB blends style, function, and confidence in every piece we create. Our team thrives on relentlessly raising the bar, being perfectly practical, and being unapologetically fearless.
About the Role
The Head of Production and Supply Chain is responsible for building, governing and continuously improving CSB’s end-to-end production and supplier network, ensuring the timely, cost-effective and quality-compliant delivery of product to CSB warehouses globally.
This role owns the critical path from design handover through to goods-in — driving supplier procurement strategy, production planning, quality assurance, logistics and compliance. Working closely with the Chief Operations Officer, Head of Design & Product Development, Head of Merchandise, this role ensures CSB’s supply chain is a source of competitive advantage: resilient, ethical, cost-optimised and capable of supporting the business at scale.
The Head of Production and Supply Chain will build and lead a dedicated production team, establish the supplier network breadth and depth CSB requires to grow, and embed the systems, processes and governance frameworks that reduce individual dependency and protect the business from supply chain disruption.
Key Responsibilities
-
Own the critical path from confirmed design handover through to goods-in, ensuring all milestones are met on time and in full.
- Manage all supplier relationships, purchase orders and production schedules to ensure mutually beneficial partnerships.
- Collaborate closely with the Head of Merchandise to align option plans, core and seasonal item requirements, and ensure the supply chain is well prepared for upcoming volumes.
- Minimise post-PO changes by ensuring production is only confirmed once specifications are fully resolved at the design handover stage.
- Work with the trade team to support recommendations around cancellations, pull-forwards, pre-sales and repeat orders to maximise inventory productivity.
- Enforce quality standards at pre-production, in-line and final inspection stages across all manufacturing partners.
- Oversee the Garment Technician function, ensuring fit, construction and technical standards are actively enforced through the manufacturing process.
- Review pre-production samples and AQL inspection reports, escalating non-conformance issues and approving bulk production.
- Manage product testing schedules to ensure all garments meet compliance requirements prior to shipment.
- Build and maintain compliance documentation including ethical trading audits, testing reports and regulatory requirements.
- Manage logistics providers, shipping consolidation and landed cost optimisation to ensure cost-effective delivery of product to CSB warehouses.
- Prepare and manage monthly, quarterly and annual budgets for the Supply Chain function.
- Set KPIs and track team performance, using data-driven insights to optimise output and customer experience.
- Inspire and cultivate a high-performing, collaborative team environment within the Supply function.
