Position: Quality Control Officer (Full-Time)

Role overview
Move My Stuff is seeking a proactive and hands-on Quality Control Officer to support daily
quality inspections, issue resolution, and customer-facing quality assurance. This role
requires a combination of warehouse presence and field support to ensure that deliveries, assemblies, and operational processes meet the company’s service and quality standards.
The position will begin each day at the warehouse and then involve field visits to inspect
work, resolve quality issues, and coach crews.
Key responsibilities
Spend the first part of the day (approximately 2 hours) at the warehouse overseeing
quality checks and readiness.
Conduct systematic inspections of packaging, loading, vehicle condition (as it affects
service quality), and assembly preparation to ensure compliance with company standards.
Attend field visits to audit completed jobs, verify assembly quality, and resolve
customer-related quality issues.
Handle quality-related delivery concerns such as:
Incomplete or incorrect assembly
Minor damages or finishing defects
Customer complaints requiring on-site quality verification and remediation
Provide guidance and corrective coaching to drivers and delivery teams to improve
workmanship and prevent recurring issues.
Ensure jobs meet the company’s quality and service standards before sign-off.
Liaise with the operations team to address process, routing, or training gaps that impact quality.
Maintain professional communication with customers when resolving quality matters and obtain clear acceptance once issues are resolved.
Keep accurate records of inspections, corrective actions, and lessons learned to support continuous improvement.
Skills & Requirements
Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset.Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Basic handyman skills and familiarity with tools for minor on-site adjustments andassembly corrections.
Ability to inspect and identify delivery, packing, or assembly defects and determineappropriate remediation.
Basic photography and videography skills — ability to capture clear, well-angledphotos and short videos for quality records and customer updates, including: before-and-after assembly, packing/loading processes, household item condition, on-site team activities, and customer testimonials/feedback.
Ensure media are well-framed and well-lit for operational and marketing use.Hands-on and practical approach to field problem solving.
Must hold a valid driver’s licence.
Own vehicle preferred
Ability to work independently and confidently manage field responsibilities.

Pay: From $30.00 per hour
