As HMR continues to grow, we are seeking experienced and motivated Diamond Drillers to join our expanding operations across Western Australia.
The Opportunity
We are seeking experienced Diamond Drillers for opportunities within our Surface and Underground drilling divisions throughout Western Australia.
Working with a modern fleet of drilling equipment, you will be responsible for delivering safe, productive, and high-quality drilling outcomes while maximising your earnings through our industry-leading tiered metre bonus structure.
The more metres you drill, the greater your earning potential.

Key Responsibilities
-
Operate HMR drilling rigs safely, efficiently, and productively
-
Achieve drilling production targets while maintaining quality standards
-
Operate equipment including:
-
Boart Longyear LF160
-
Longyear LM90 and LM110
-
UDR1000 and UDR1200
-
Erubus 90 and 110 mobile drill rigs
-
Epiroc Smart 6 drill rigs.
-
Understand geological formations and core sampling techniques
-
Mentor and support Drill Assistants
-
Conduct daily inspections and preventative maintenance
-
Maintain accurate drilling records and reporting
-
Comply with all site and Promote a strong culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:

Previous experience as a Diamond Driller
-
Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
-
The ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
-
National Police Clearance issued within the last 12 months
-
A strong commitment to safety and operational excellence
Required Licences & Tickets
The following licences and tickets are required for this position:
-
Current Manual Driver's Licence (Underground positions)
-
HR Driver's Licence (preferred for Surface positions)
-
Cert II or III in Drilling Operations
Desirable Licences & Tickets. The following will be highly regarded:

Cert IV in Drilling Operations

Additional industry training and certifications
-
Previous experience across multiple drilling rig types
