About the Role
As Operations Coordinator, you’ll be at the heart of our daily logistics, coordinating freight movements, supporting drivers, managing compliance, and delivering outstanding service to our customers. You’ll also play a key role in sourcing and remunerating contractors, quoting daily jobs, and ensuring our operations run smoothly, safely, and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
· Coordinate daily pickups and deliveries with a focus on safety, timeliness, and customer satisfaction
· Manage routing and scheduling to optimise fleet and contractor utilisation
· Source, onboard, and remunerate contractors in line with operational needs
· Quote daily jobs accurately and promptly for new and existing customers
· Monitor fleet compliance, servicing schedules, and maintenance requirements
· Provide exceptional service and support to clients, suppliers, and drivers
· Assist with general administration and operational support
· Build strong working relationships across the team and with external partners
· Ensure compliance with transport regulations, fatigue management, and safety standards
· Contribute to continuous improvement in logistics systems and processes
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar transport operations role
- Proven experience in contractor sourcing and remuneration
- Strong quoting and customer service skills
- Solid administration and problem-solving ability
- Knowledge of transport regulations and compliance requirements
- Experience with open trailer and specialised freight (essential)
- Forklift licence (desirable)
- Proactive mindset, attention to detail, and ability to thrive under pressure

Pay: $80,000.00 – $120,000.00 per year
