Plant Culture is seeking a qualified and experienced horticulture professional to join our team on a casual basis. If you have a genuine passion for plants, strong practical skills, and take pride in creating beautiful, well-maintained gardens, we want to hear from you!
This is a hands-on role focused on high-quality garden maintenance and horticultural services for residential and commercial clients.
Key Responsibilities
- General garden maintenance including mowing, snipping/hedge trimming
- Seasonal pruning of fruit trees, roses, deciduous, perennials
- Planting and seasonal garden installations
- Mulching - tan bark, rock, compost, soil
- Laying turf and installing garden edging
- Organic garden care - pest and weed spraying
- Weeding and plant detailing
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified in Horticulture or relevant field (Certificate III or higher preferred)
- Experience essential
- Strong plant knowledge – essential for this role
- Practical skills in pruning, turf laying, mulching, and general garden care
- Physically fit and able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and customer-focused
- Own transport and driving licence (highly desirable)
