Kim Khanh BYO Vietnamese and Chinese Restaurant is seeking a permanent full-time Retail Manager to manage and improve the business’s retail, takeaway, phone order and delivery platform operations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing off-premise sales channels, stock levels, retail pricing, customer service standards, POS reporting, staff rostering, supplier coordination, marketing activities and operational compliance.
Main Responsibilities
- Determine appropriate product mix for off-premise sales, manage stock levels of packaging and retail-related items, and ensure consistent service standards across takeaway and delivery operations.
- Formulate and implement purchasing and marketing strategies for off-premise sales channels, including setting pricing structures for takeaway and delivery platforms such as Uber Eats, TuckerFox and DoorDash.
- Promote and advertise the business’s off-premise offerings through digital platforms, online promotions and customer engagement strategies to drive sales growth.
- Oversee the sale of goods and services through takeaway, phone orders and delivery platforms, while ensuring high-quality customer service and order accuracy.
- Maintain accurate records of sales performance, stock levels and financial transactions related to off-premise operations using POS and reporting systems.
- Monitor revenue performance and assist in budgeting, cost control and profitability analysis for the retail sales component of the business.
- Manage recruitment, rostering, training and supervision of staff involved in takeaway counter operations and off-premise service delivery.
- Ensure compliance with relevant workplace health and safety requirements, food safety standards and operational procedures within the takeaway and retail service areas.
- Coordinate consistency across multiple sales channels, including pricing, promotions, product offerings and delivery operations, to maintain a unified retail strategy.
Requirements
- At least a Graduate Diploma in Management, Business, Retail Management, Hospitality Management or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- At least 1 year of experience as a Retail Manager or in a similar retail management role.
- Strong leadership, organisational and financial management skills.
- Experience with stock control, POS systems, sales reporting, staff supervision and customer service.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, workplace health and safety requirements and relevant operational compliance.
- Conversant in English.
