Retail Manager
KIM KHANH BYO VIETNAMESE AND CHINESE RESTAURANT is seeking a full-time Retail Manager to manage and improve the daily retail, takeaway, dine-in, and online food ordering operations of our business in Darra, Queensland.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing retail sales performance, customer service standards, stock levels, supplier coordination, staff rostering, POS transactions, pricing, product display, and online delivery platform operations. This role is suitable for a motivated and organised person with strong retail management, customer service, stock control, and team supervision skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the daily retail, takeaway, dine-in, and online ordering operations of the business.
- Determine and monitor product mix, stock levels, retail pricing, and service standards to support business performance.
- Manage stock control, ordering, supplier coordination, inventory records, and product availability.
- Monitor POS transactions, sales reports, stock movement, and financial records to support budgeting and operational decisions.
- Implement purchasing, marketing, and promotional activities to improve retail sales and customer engagement.
- Coordinate product/menu display, takeaway packaging, online ordering platforms, and delivery channel consistency.
- Recruit, train, roster, supervise, and support retail and customer service staff.
- Maintain high customer service standards and resolve customer enquiries, complaints, or service issues professionally.
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety, food safety, hygiene, and business procedures.
- Review daily operations and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, sales growth, staff performance, and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Relevant qualification in business, retail management, hospitality management, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience in retail management, food retail, takeaway operations, hospitality retail, or a similar customer-facing business.
- Strong understanding of stock control, supplier coordination, POS systems, sales reporting, and customer service standards.
- Ability to supervise staff, prepare rosters, support training, and maintain daily operational performance.
- Good communication, organisation, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work full-time and manage operations across weekdays, evenings, weekends, and peak business periods as required.
