About the Role:
A fantastic opportunity is available for a Quality Assurance Officer to join a farming operation in the Berrigan region of southern New South Wales.
This role will suit a highly organised person with strong attention to detail who enjoys working across both grain storage operations and livestock management.
The successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, monitoring compliance and quality standards, and ensuring farm operations are properly documented and managed.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and maintain silo complex records and documentation
Developing, implementing and overseeing quality assurance programs within silo and in respect of livestock
Assist management with compliance and biosecurity requirements across grain storage and silo operations
Maintain accurate records relating to silo management, grain handling and storage
Monitor livestock management practices and maintain comprehensive animal husbandry records
Maintain livestock health, treatment, movement and production records
Assist with ensuring farm procedures meet relevant quality, safety and animal welfare requirements
Identify discrepancies or issues in records and follow up as required
Prepare reports and documentation for management
Work closely with farm staff, contractors and management to ensure accurate record keeping
Support continuous improvement of farm and quality assurance systems
About You:
We are looking for someone who is:
Highly organised and detail-oriented
Confident with record keeping and documentation
Reliable, practical and able to work independently
Comfortable working outdoors and in varying weather conditions
Comfortable working in a rural/farming environment
Interested in grain storage, livestock and agricultural operations
Able to communicate effectively with farm staff and management
Competent with computers and standard office software
Committed to maintaining high standards of quality, safety and animal welfare
Diploma or three years of relevant work in agriculture, grain storage, livestock management, quality assurance or similar
What We Offer:
$80,000–$90,000 annual salary, plus superannuation
Full-time position (40 hours per week) in the Berrigan, NSW region
