We are looking for an experienced, reliable and hands-on Front of House Manager to join our restaurant team on a permanent part-time basis.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the front of house operation, providing excellent customer service and ensuring the restaurant runs smoothly every night.
You must be confident working independently and be able to manage the restaurant effectively during quieter nights, as well as busy services.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day front of house operations.
- Lead and support the front of house team.
- Deliver excellent customer service and create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Manage bookings, table allocations and guest requests.
- Handle customer feedback and resolve issues professionally.
- Oversee beverage and cocktail service.
- Ensure responsible service of alcohol at all times.
- Maintain high standards of service, cleanliness and presentation.
- Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service.
- Complete opening and closing duties as required.
- Work independently and confidently on quieter nights with minimal supervision.
- Take initiative and make decisions to ensure the smooth running of each service.
Essential Requirements
- Current RSA certificate – essential.
- Previous restaurant or hospitality management/supervisory experience.
- Good knowledge of cocktails and beverage service.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Excellent leadership and organisational skills.
- Reliable, professional and well presented.
- Ability to work independently and manage quieter services confidently.
- Ability to remain calm and organised during busy periods.
- Availability to work 6 nights per week.
