As the Sous chef, you will assume a pivotal role in assisting the Head Chef in managing the kitchen, managing inventory, and ensuring strict adherence to food safety and hygiene standards. Key responsibilities:
- Previous experience as a Chef, or in a similar role (minimum 3 years)
- Proficiency in diverse culinary techniques, cuisines, cooking methods, and flavour profiles.
- Proven ability to manage high-volume kitchen operations, including controlling food and labour costs and inventory.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
- Must have a relevant Diploma qualification.
- Additional certifications in food safety, culinary arts, or related areas are advantageous.
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transport.
