This is an exciting opportunity for experienced Therapy Assistants to work at Brightwater Birralee on a permanent part-time basis.
Located in Innaloo , Brightwater Birralee is a suburban home for a group of 30 permanent residents and 30 Transition Care clients.
Whilst working as a Therapy Assistant you will be an important part of the multi-disciplinary team and provide assistance in all aspects of day-to-day care and individualised therapy, lifestyle and leisure programs. This role focuses on creating meaningful experiences and helping clients meet Transition care program goals by promoting engagement, connection, and well-being.
To be considered for this role candidates must have experience working as a Therapy Assistant, candidates with transition care experience will be viewed favourably and New Grads are welcome to apply!
This is a permanent part-time position available with working hours 9am to 5pm on Saturday each week . To be considered for this role you must be available to work both Saturday shifts. There will also be the opportunity to pick up additional shifts at the site.

To be suitable for this role, you must possess:
- Certificate III or IV in Allied Health Assistance
- Experience working as a Therapy Assistant, with transition care experience viewed favourably
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with people from diverse backgrounds and experiences
- A positive, proactive and client focused approach
- A satisfactory National Police Clearance that is less than one year old
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
- Western Australian Driver’s licence
Responsibilities include:
- Provision of goal directed therapy programs in accordance with Care Plan in group or individual settings
- Provision of recreational based activities to meet social and emotional needs
- Contribute to the development of innovative therapy programs to improve wellbeing
- Support volunteers to enhance the site therapy program
- Contribute to site reporting, accreditation standards and legislative compliance by completing all documentation and reporting incidents
