The Opportunity
KBR is seeking a proactive and organised Project Support Officer to join our team supporting the Land Command, Control, Communications and Computers Integration (LC4I) Systems Program Office (SPO).
In this role, you'll be part of the Platform Integrated Electronic Systems (Plat-IES) Program Management Office (PMO), providing essential project, procurement and administrative support to help deliver critical Defence capability. Working closely with Project Managers, Defence stakeholders and industry partners, you'll play a key role in coordinating procurement activities, maintaining project governance, supporting financial administration and ensuring project information is accurate, organised and up to date.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate procurement activities, including purchase requisitions, purchase orders, invoice processing and procurement reporting.

Support procurement documentation, including Requests for Quotation (RFQs), evaluations and approval processes.

Maintain project, procurement and financial registers to support project governance and reporting.

Assist with financial administration, including expenditure tracking, reconciliations and reporting.

Prepare meeting agendas, minutes, action registers, briefs and presentations.

Support project reporting, governance and risk management activities.

Maintain project documentation and electronic records.
-
Build effective relationships with Defence stakeholders, suppliers and project teams.

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the PMO.
As the ideal candidate you will bring:
-
Experience in project support, procurement or PMO administration.
-
Experience supporting Commonwealth procurement or commercial administration activities (highly regarded).
-
Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
-
Experience preparing reports, project documentation and presentations.
-
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite and electronic document management systems.
-
Experience working within the Australian Defence environment.
-
Experience using Defence ERP systems.

Minimum AGSVA NV1 Security Clearance and Australian citizenship required to be eligible.
