What this job involves
Assist with submissions and pitch process for new appointments – prepare research material, financial modeling and executive summaries
Responsible for preparing marketing materials including investor presentation, information memorandums, underwriting pack and other documents
Responsible for complex financial modeling and property valuation utilising market and JLL sales and leasing databases with a strong ability to provide superior analysis on all facets of property valuation
Assist with the due diligence process through the closing for each transaction, and be in proactive communication with the Producers, the Market and the Client
Responsible for understanding, reviewing and analysing property documents (leases, debt term sheets, planning reports, valuation appraisals, etc.)
Sound understanding of property-built form, identifying building issues and CapEx requirements
Maintain a strong understanding of the market / sector and capital markets activity
Liaison with both internal and external stakeholders and develop a strong client network within the industry through meetings, events and involvement in transactions
Contribute to weekly office meetings with Producers to discuss deal flow, deal status, market conditions, review and analyse new client leads
Participate in JLL's collection of research data and contribute to our objective to maintain a market-leading research capability
Key skills
Strong organisational skills with ability to prioritise and achieve deadlines
Ability to work independently in a fast paced, high-pressure environment
Sound understanding of the sales process and real estate financial markets
Strong financial modeling skills and understanding of DCF and Market Cap valuation approach
Strong presentation and communication skills, ability to work in a collaborative environment
Advanced knowledge AI systems and ability to utilise for maximum efficiency
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor of Property, Accounting, Finance, Business or a similar University Degree
Assistant Valuer / CFA / Masters or similar or in progress
Min 2-3 years of valuations, real estate transactions or investment experience in the Industrial market.
