Base salary from $68,168 (as per Level 4 , Step 1 of Support Services enterprise agreement) + 12% superannuation + access to salary packaging via Maxxia to maximise your take home pay (including venue hire, meals, entertainment and novated leasing).

Macquarie Medical Imaging is looking for enthusiastic and patient-focused individuals to join our growing administration team. With 2 x permanent, full-time positions available, this is a fantastic opportunity to build a rewarding career in healthcare administration within Australia's only fully integrated academic health sciences centre.
You will be part of a welcoming, fast-paced team that plays a vital role in delivering an exceptional patient experience and supporting our Radiology clinicians to run an efficient, professional practice. From managing bookings and liaising with patients to front-of-house reception duties, you will gain broad exposure across a variety of administrative functions, keeping your work engaging and varied every day.
You will begin your journey in our bookings team, where you will receive dedicated on-the-job training from experienced Senior Medical Imaging Administrators. As your skills and confidence grow, you will progress into receptionist duties and further areas of the service, building a diverse and transferable skill set along the way.
About the Role
These are full-time, permanent positions working 38 hours per week. You will initially work standard hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday. Once training is complete and you are confident in the role, rotating shifts will be offered within Macquarie Medical Imaging's operating hours of 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Monday to Friday.
Key responsibilities include:
Assisting patients in person, over the phone and via email with a warm and professional approach
Managing and coordinating patient appointments in line with medical imaging scheduling requirements
Ensuring accurate data entry of patient information into the patient management system
Liaising and communicating effectively with administrative colleagues, clinicians and other health professionals
Attending to general housekeeping duties in reception and waiting areas, along with other administrative tasks as required
Maintaining strict confidentiality and privacy of all patient information and records
Contributing to a positive, team-oriented environment that prioritises patient-centred care

Selection Criteria:
Demonstrated experience in an administrative, reception or customer service role, ideally within a healthcare or medical imaging setting
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a warm, patient-centred approach
Strong attention to detail and accuracy, particularly with data entry and patient information management
Ability to work confidently across multiple systems and screens in a fast-paced environment
Proven capacity to manage competing priorities while maintaining a high standard of service
Commitment to confidentiality, privacy and ethical conduct in handling sensitive information
A collaborative team player who is reliable, adaptable and committed to full-time hours
