We are seeking a Tour Guide Team Leader to join our Team at Mossman Gorge Cultural Centre.
Embraced by one of the world's most beautiful locations, the Mossman Gorge Cultural Centre is an enticing destination to introduce visitors to both the stunning natural beauty of the Daintree and the rich culture of the Kuku Yalanji people.
This role is to provide quality cultural touring experiences through the effective co-ordination of the day-to-day touring operations to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction.
The Tours Team Leader will be required contribute to Voyages vision for changing lives through cultural tourism and demonstrate a commitment to ensure that health and safety is integral to the operation of our business and our people
Key Duties
- Manage the daily operational manifest/agenda for tours.
- Maintain and coordinate collection of touring resources such as soap leaf, ochre, paperbark and firewood supplies and advise Operations Manager of weekly/daily orders required.
- Ensure communication of daily events to Tour Team Members through the daily manifest and daily team briefings.
- Act as a Buddy for new staff members and trainees.
