About the team
At the centre of the Wesfarmers Group, we are building a cross-skilled and diverse technology team focused on engaging the business, understanding strategic drivers and co-creating value-adding solutions.
Your team specifically operates within the AI Delivery stream, working closely with Corporate Office functions and broader Wesfarmers businesses to design and deliver practical AI solutions that solve real business problems. You’ll be part of a small, high-impact group partnering deeply with stakeholders and pushing technical boundaries to deliver outcomes.
What you’ll do

Design, build and deploy AI agents, skills, knowledge assistants and automations that address defined business opportunities across Corporate Office functions

Translate business requirements into working AI solutions, selecting the right platform and approach for each use case

Build solutions using low-code/no-code tools (e.g. Copilot Studio, Power Platform) and enterprise GenAI platforms such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Microsoft 365 Copilot

Deliver solutions across the full lifecycle - from rapid prototyping through to deployment, monitoring and continuous improvement

Collaborate with technology teams, stakeholders and partners to ensure solutions integrate cleanly and meet enterprise standards

Monitor, optimise and support the performance, usage and cost of AI solutions, supporting platform administration and releases and maintaining shared AI assets such as reusable agents, templates and connectors

Ensure all solutions meet security, governance and responsible AI requirements

Lead proof-of-concept and experimentation initiatives, rapidly testing new approaches and showcasing outcomes
What you’ll need
- Hands-on experience building and deploying AI, automation and/or digital solutions in a professional environment

Strong capability working with low-code/no-code platforms (e.g. Copilot Studio, Power Platform or similar) and enterprise GenAI tools

Practical understanding of generative AI, large language models and how to evaluate solution performance

Experience working within enterprise environments, including governance, security and change processes

Ability to translate business problems into technical solutions and communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders

Strong problem-solving capability, with the ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities

Curiosity, ownership and a bias towards delivery in a fast-moving environment

The Corporate Office provides corporate services and support to the autonomous businesses within the Wesfarmers Group, enabling the achievement of Group objectives.
It leads capital allocation and portfolio management for the Group and focuses on leveraging and enhancing the Group’s reputation to support attraction and retention of talent, securing investment opportunities and maintaining a low-cost capital.
