WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
The Nike Football Senior Specialist will sit within the Pacific Brand Management team, working at the intersection of sport and culture. Reporting to the Pacific Football, Brand Initiatives & Kids Brand Manager, you’ll collaborate across Sports Marketing, Brand Creative, Digital, Retail and agency partners to bring football stories to life across Australia.

Nike is looking for a brand marketeer who lives and breathes football culture. This person understands the game beyond the pitch, its energy, its communities, and the subcultures shaping it. They are curious about the next generation of athletes and creators, driven to connect with them in meaningful ways, and motivated to build something bigger than campaigns.
They bring a strong point of view, balanced with a collaborative mindset. They know how to move seamlessly from strategy to execution, from insight to action. They are comfortable owning relationships, navigating ambiguity, and adapting to the pace of sport and the rhythm of the city. Above all, they’re passionate about driving impact from grassroots to global stage while representing Nike with authenticity and purpose.
Based in Melbourne.
Minimum 4 years’ experience in marketing, brand, or community sports environments.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training.
Proven experience managing agencies, partnerships, and cross-functional marketing campaigns.
Deep connection to football culture in Australia, with strong understanding of local communities and the broader sporting landscape.
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
You will drive Nike Football’s presence across Australia bringing campaigns, community and culture together to shape the future of the game. From grassroots connections to brand storytelling, you’ll turn insight into action and moments into impact.
Lead end-to-end delivery of football brand campaigns, activations, and key moments in partnership with Brand, Digital, Retail and Sports Marketing teams.
Build and manage relationships with agencies, creators, and partners to deliver integrated, culturally relevant work.
Shape and execute Nike Football social content, collaborating with Digital Marketing and talent to create platform-right storytelling.
Define and activate grassroots strategies, identifying communities, organisations, and creators that represent the future of football in Australia.
Coordinate product flow and logistics for campaigns, including shoots, seeding, and events.
Partner with Paid Media and Retail teams to amplify campaigns across Nike-owned and partner channels.
Continuously gather cultural and consumer insights to inform seasonal planning, long-term strategy, and new opportunities.
