A warm and welcoming family based in Hawthorn, VIC are seeking an experienced, reliable, and engaging nanny to care for their three school-aged children (13, 10 and 7 years old).
The family are looking for a long-term nanny who will become a positive and supportive part of their household. They value openness, honesty, flexibility, and having fun together, and are seeking someone who can provide a calm, organised, and nurturing environment while encouraging the children s independence and confidence.
The role primarily involves supporting the children through their after-school routine, ensuring they are well cared for, organised, and ready for the next day. The nanny will also assist with Saturday activities and may have the opportunity to work additional morning hours (7:30 am 9:00 am) if available.
Duties will include:

School pick-up and transporting the children to extracurricular activities

Driving to sporting activities, Scouts, music lessons and occasional medical appointments

Assisting with homework and encouraging good study habits

Preparing healthy, nutritious meals and involving the children in cooking where appropriate

Encouraging outdoor play, physical activity, and active lifestyles

Supporting evening routines including showers and bedtime preparation

Light household duties relating to the children, including:

Keeping shared areas neat and tidy

Encouraging the children to develop good household habits

Clearing the table

Stacking and unpacking the dishwasher

General tidying after meals and activities
The family are looking for a nanny who is:

German or French language skills would be welcomed, as the children are learning these languages, however this is not essential. Musical ability is also a bonus (though not required.
