About the Position
We're seeking an experienced Maintenance & Operations Supervisor to lead our in-house team and oversee the delivery of maintenance and operational services across Bond University's diverse campus.
This is a hands-on leadership role where no two days are the same. You'll coordinate preventative and reactive maintenance programs, supervise internal maintenance staff, manage external contractors and ensure the campus operates safely, efficiently and to a consistently high standard.
You'll also play an important role in supporting the University's event operations, coordinating the set-up of spaces for functions and major events. This includes planning and directing internal teams as well as engaging and managing specialist contractors for specific services.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you'll balance multiple priorities across a complex, multi-building environment where excellent planning, strong communication and sound operational judgement are essential.
Core Responsibilities
You are an experienced facilities, maintenance or operations leader who enjoys working in a dynamic environment where every day is different.
Having successfully led maintenance teams within a large, complex organisation, you will understand how to balance preventative maintenance, day-to-day operational demands, contractor management and customer service. You are equally comfortable planning scheduled works, responding to unexpected issues and coordinating operational support for events.
You will ideally bring experience from environments such as a university, hospital, hotel, convention centre, airport, large commercial precinct or other multi-building facility where operational excellence is critical.
You'll have:
The salary for the position commences at $99,108.89 per annum, plus 12% superannuation.
