We are currently seeking a passionate and experience full-time Duty Manager - Food & Beverage to join our leadership team.
You’ll lead from the front, keeping our food and beverage operations humming, our standards high and our guests coming back for more. You’ll drive performance, spot opportunities and never be afraid to try something new to lift the experience. From busy service periods to major events, you’ll juggle it all with confidence, bringing energy, calm and a bit of flair along the way.
What you'll be doing
- Manage the day-to-day Oval Hotel food and beverage operations, ensuring exceptional service standards and guest satisfaction
- Lead, coach and develop front-of-house hospitality teams to achieve outstanding operational performance
- Drive the profitable delivery of all food and beverage services while meeting business objectives and financial targets
- Monitoring labour costs, operating expenses and venue performance to maximise productivity and profitability
- Develop workforce plans and staff rosters to support operational requirements and customer demand
- Oversee inventory control, purchasing supplier relationships and stock management to maintain product quality and cost efficiency
- Introduce innovative food and beverage initiatives, promotions and service improvements that enhance the guest experience and grow revenue.
- Prepare operational reports, forecasts and business performance analysis for senior management.
Your skills and experience
- Previous experience managing food and beverage operations within a hotel, restaurant or premium hospitality environment
- A natural leader who knows how to bring out the best in people
- A genuine passion for hospitality and great service
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build great team culture
- Experience across events and busy, high-volume environments
- The ability to stay cool under pressure and keep things moving
- A team-first mindset, with the confidence to work independently when needed

This is a hands-on hospitality leadership role, so you’ll need to be available for nights, weekends and public holidays.
