In this role, you'll:
Work as part of a team delivering improved environmental and sustainability performance and regulatory compliance across Transport for NSW, this role will see you develop and maintain the data and reporting frameworks, systems (including MyHSE Ngara) and initiatives to support continuous improvement in environment and sustainability outcomes across Transport.
You will contribute to the preparation of performance and compliance reports and supporting documentation to meet operational needs, including assisting in the development of objectives, measures, targets, and key performance indicators.
You will strengthen environmental and sustainability compliance outcomes in a large, multi stakeholder transport environment, where balancing regulatory obligations, performance expectations and data integrity is critical to evidence-based decision making.

About you
- Strong analytical and reporting skills developed across environmental management, sustainability, infrastructure delivery, and regulated environments
- Proven ability to interpret complex data and translate it into clear, actionable insights
- Experience delivering high-quality assurance activities to support improved environmental performance and compliance outcomes
- Effective stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to collaborate across large, complex organisations
- Recognised as a trusted advisor with the ability to influence best practice outcomes
- Sound knowledge of environmental protection legislation, standards, and compliance frameworks
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex environmental issues in a clear and practical way
- Experience in environmental compliance, reporting frameworks, and assurance processes
- Experience using Power BI for reporting and data visualisation is desirable
- Tertiary qualifications in Environment or equivalent relevant professional experience
