Home Hospice Australia is a newly formed Palliative Care agency in Melbourne that provides in-home care for people nearing the end of life or requiring respite. We offer palliative care and support up to 24 hours per day, 7 days a week, providing compassionate, empathic care and support to our clients and their families. Our services are tailored to the client’s individual needs, working in conjunction with their ongoing medical team to ensure the best care is provided.
This is an exciting opportunity for experienced Palliative Care Nurses to join a new and dynamic team for casual work. Have you had enough of rosters and working shifts that don’t suit your lifestyle? If so, then this is the perfect job for you. Shifts available are AM, PM or Night Duty, which gives you flexibility to work the hours and days you choose. The role involves assisting clients in their home with medications, personal care and hygiene. Domestic duties such as meal preparation and cleaning etc. and providing emotional support to clients and their family members.
We are seeking to employ a Registered Nurse (Division One), with experience in palliative care preferred. We are looking for kind, caring nurses who are passionate about supporting clients in their final days. Nurses who can work autonomously and have good communication skills.
