We are looking for a reliable, organised and proactive housekeeper to help with the ongoing care and upkeep of our home in Hillarys.
This is more than a traditional cleaning role. We are looking for someone who takes pride in how a home looks and feels, notices what needs doing and is happy to help keep things running smoothly.
The role
Approximately 6–8 hours per week, ideally spread across:
Mid-morning to early afternoon would be ideal, although there is flexibility around timing. The role could work particularly well around school hours, study or another part-time position.
There is also the option of an additional 2 hours per fortnight supporting the upkeep of an office in Subiaco.
What you’ll help with
The role will include a mix of regular household upkeep and general home support, including:
- General cleaning and maintaining the home
- Changing bed linen and making beds
- Laundry and ironing
- Keeping rooms tidy, organised and presentable
- Managing weekly, fortnightly and monthly household tasks
- Dropping off or collecting dry cleaning
- Receiving or collecting grocery orders where required
- Picking up occasional household items or dog food
- General organisation and helping keep the home running smoothly
The house is already well maintained, so this isn’t about constant deep cleaning. It is about keeping everything on top of, noticing the little things and taking pride in the overall presentation of the home.
We have an existing roster of weekly, fortnightly and monthly tasks, but once you get to know us and the house, we’d love someone who feels comfortable making suggestions or taking initiative where they see something that needs attention.
About our home
There are two adults and two dogs in the household, so you must genuinely like and be comfortable around dogs.

Hours & location
Location: Hillarys, WA
Hours: Approximately 6–8 hours per week
Days: Monday, Wednesday and Friday
Timing: Ideally mid-morning to early afternoon, with some flexibility
Optional additional hours: Approximately 2 hours per fortnight in Subiaco
