We're looking for a BI & Decision AI Lead to shape the future of enterprise reporting, analytics and decision intelligence across our organisation.
Reporting to the Head of Modern Data Platforms, you'll lead our Business Intelligence capability, setting the strategy, standards and operating model that enable trusted insights at scale. This is a rare opportunity to combine strategic leadership with hands-on expertise, helping drive faster, smarter decision-making through modern analytics, AI-powered insights and self-service reporting.
Based in North Strathfield, you'll lead a team of BI developers while partnering closely with senior stakeholders across Finance, Commercial, Operations and Technology.
About You
You're naturally curious and confident in turning complex data into meaningful business outcomes. You know how to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery, and you're passionate about building high-performing teams, modern analytics capabilities and trusted data foundations.
You bring:
Extensive experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics or Decision Intelligence leadership roles
Deep expertise with Power BI, including complex data modelling, dashboard development and advanced DAX
Strong knowledge of data warehousing, semantic modelling and KPI governance
Experience developing and executing enterprise BI and analytics strategies
A track record of leading teams, influencing stakeholders and driving adoption of data-driven decision making
Experience embedding AI, automation or advanced analytics into reporting and business processes
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to demonstrate business value from analytics investments
Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience
What Your Days Look Like
Defining and executing The Arnott's Group BI and analytics strategy
Establishing enterprise-wide KPI frameworks and semantic data models
Leading the performance, reliability and governance of BI platforms and solutions
Embedding AI-powered analytics, automation and decision support tools into business processes
Driving a shift from ad-hoc reporting to scalable, insight-led analytics products
Leading a hybrid delivery model across local teams and offshore BI shared services
Coaching and developing BI professionals while uplifting capability across the organisation
Partnering with senior business leaders to unlock value through data and analytics
