We're looking for a
Bids & Pursuits Senior Executive to play a key role in supporting the firm's strategic growth. Working alongside partners and senior stakeholders, you'll lead major tenders, proposals and panel appointments, helping shape how we position Wotton Kearney in the market. This is an opportunity to combine strategic thinking, compelling storytelling and stakeholder engagement while leveraging the latest AI-enabled tools to drive innovation and efficiency across our bids and pursuits function. Based in Sydney or Melbourne, you'll have the chance to influence firm-wide outcomes and contribute to the continued growth of one of the most respected professional services brands in the region
The Role:
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of priority tenders, proposals and panel appointment submissions.
- Develop tailored, client-focused bid responses aligned to strategic objectives.
- Coordinate stakeholders across legal, finance, IT, pricing, risk and design teams.
- Create compelling win themes, messaging and positioning that differentiates the firm.
- Ensure submissions meet tender requirements, governance standards and deadlines.
- Act as a trusted advisor to partners and senior lawyers on pursuit strategy and approach.
- Support bid presentations, interviews and panel pitches.
- Drive continuous improvement of bid processes, templates, knowledge resources and AI-enabled workflows.
- Leverage CRM and AI tools to enhance reporting, pipeline visibility and pursuit performance.
- Maintain high standards of quality, accuracy and brand consistency across all submissions.
About You:
- 5+ years' experience in bids and pursuits within a law firm, professional services or comparable environment.
- Exceptional writing, editing and storytelling skills, with a strong eye for detail.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines and competing priorities.
- Experience building credibility and influencing senior stakeholders.
- Strong commercial acumen and the ability to contribute to pricing and value proposition discussions.
- A collaborative approach and confidence working across diverse teams.
- Curiosity and enthusiasm for leveraging AI tools to improve processes and outcomes.
- Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
- Degree qualifications in Marketing, Communications or a related discipline will be highly regarded.
