Position Summary
The Forklift Operator / Warehouse Operator is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations including forklift driving, freight handling, loading and unloading, and general warehouse tasks. The role ensures goods are handled safely and efficiently while maintaining high standards of workplace safety and operational accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform parcel sorting and scanning based on operational requirements
- Load and unload parcels from pallets, cages, or conveyor lines
- Assist with parcel consolidation and staging for dispatch
- Follow warehouse operational procedures and safety guidelines
- Maintain a clean and organised working environment
- Support general warehouse handling tasks when required
Key Requirements / Skills
- Valid ABN (Australian Business Number)
- Previous experience in warehouse, logistics or parcel handling is preferred
- Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual and responsible attitude
- Forklift licence is an advantage but not required
