About the Role
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Accountant to join our team and support the organisation’s financial operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with statutory requirements, and contributing to effective financial planning and analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate financial statements and reports for management, boards, shareholders, and regulatory bodies
- Develop and maintain budgeting processes, accounting policies, and internal control systems
- Conduct audits, financial investigations, and analytical reviews, and provide advice on taxation, compliance, and business transactions
- Analyse operating costs, cash flow, and organisational income and expenditure to support strategic planning
- Liaise with financial institutions and external stakeholders, manage tax preparation, and oversee the implementation and maintenance of accounting systems
Skills and Experience Required
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (mandatory)
- Professional accreditation (CPA/CA) or progress toward accreditation is highly regarded
- Demonstrated experience in financial reporting, taxation, auditing, and compliance
- Strong analytical and organisational skills with high attention to detail
- Proficiency with accounting software and computer-based financial systems
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management abilities
