Team Leader Opportunity – High & Complex Care
We are specifically seeking an experienced and confident Team Leader (TL) to support a client in their mid-20s living with a disability affecting memory, endurance, and movement. The client is fully mobile and partially independent, requiring structured support, supervision, and encouragement to maximise quality of life.
This role is ideal for someone ready to step into leadership while remaining hands-on in direct support.
Shifts will include a mixture of inactive sleepovers with active hours before and after.
About the Role
You will:
Provide high-quality daily support and companionship
Facilitate social outings and community engagement
Assist with meal preparation and domestic tasks
Encourage rehabilitation and exercise routines
Provide supervision, prompting, and gentle redirection
Deliver overnight sleepover support
Lead, mentor, and guide support staff involved in the client’s care
Ensure care plans are implemented to a high standard
Act as a key liaison between the client, family, and Carehero management

Essential Requirements:
First Aid Certificate
NDIS Workers Screening Clearance
Working with Children’s Check
Certificate III or IV in Disability, Aged Care or Community Services (highly desirable)
Australian Driver's License and Reliable Vehicle
