An opportunity has presented itself for a Terminal Controller to join our team in Acacia Ridge QLD.
What You’ll Do
Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, you will:

Coordinate and manage all rail movements within the terminal, ensuring safety at all times.

Monitor train movements using panel systems and train graphs.

Communicate with train crews, external controllers, and operational stakeholders to direct movements.

Implement daily train plans while adapting to changing operational requirements.

Manage contractor and visitor activity within the terminal.
-
Ensure safe arrivals and departures by confirming routing and track availability.

Respond to incidents and support emergency management processes.

Maintain accurate operational records and data in relevant systems.
What You’ll Bring
-
Experience in a safety-critical, logistics, rail, or operational control environment
-
Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders
-
Proven ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities
-
Analytical thinking and strong problem-solving capability
-
Experience in planning, coordination, or control-based roles
-
Intermediate computer skills (including Excel and operational systems)
-
A commitment to safety and continuous improvement
Experience in rail operations or Safe Working qualifications will be highly regarded.
