Seventh-day Adventist Schools (Northern Australia) Ltd. is seeking a welcoming, organised and capable Reception and Administration Officer to join the team at Carlisle Adventist College.
This is a temporary part-time or casual position, with the possibility of up to full-time hours depending on the availability of the successful applicant and the operational needs of the College. The position is available for an immediate start and will provide essential support during a period of administrative staffing transition.

About the Role
The Reception and Administration Officer is often the first point of contact for students, families, staff and visitors. The successful applicant will help ensure the College office operates efficiently and that everyone who contacts or visits the College receives professional, friendly and timely assistance.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing reception and responding to telephone, email and in-person enquiries
- Welcoming visitors and assisting students and families
- Supporting student attendance, sign-in and sign-out processes
- Undertaking general administrative duties, data entry and record management
- Assisting with correspondence, documents and other office tasks
- Providing administrative support to College leadership and staff
- Supporting student services and first-aid processes where required
The successful applicant will demonstrate:

- Excellent organisation and attention to detail
- The ability to manage competing priorities in a busy school office
- Discretion when handling confidential and sensitive information
- Competence using Microsoft Office and other administrative systems
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- A willingness to support the Christian ethos and values of the College
Previous experience in reception, administration or a school environment would be advantageous. First-aid qualifications, or a willingness to obtain them, would also be desirable.
It is preferable that the successful applicant be a baptised and practising member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, or a practising Christian sympathetic to the unique Seventh-day Adventist identity of the College.
The successful applicant will be required to hold, or be eligible to obtain, a current Queensland Working with Children Blue Card.
