As our centre continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced Centre Manager to work alongside our Director and leadership team. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys supporting educators, building genuine relationships with families, and helping a quality preschool continue to thrive.
About the role
You'll play an important role in the day-to-day leadership of the centre, including:
- Leading, mentoring and supporting educators
- Building trusted relationships with families
- Overseeing daily operations and compliance
- Supporting curriculum quality and continuous improvement
- Helping maintain our warm, welcoming culture
- Working closely with the Director on the future growth of the centre
The role includes the responsibilities of a Centre Manager/Nominated Supervisor in line with the National Quality Framework.
About you
You're someone who:
- Has an approved Early Childhood qualification (Bachelor or Diploma or similar)
- Has experience as a Centre Manager, Nominated Supervisor, Assistant Director or is ready to step up into your first Centre Manager role
- Loves supporting and developing educators so they can do their best work
- Builds warm, trusting relationships with parents/families
- Prides yourself on being organised and using good systems
- Understands the importance of compliance, while keeping children at the heart of every decision
- Brings warmth, initiative and a calm presence, even on busy days
- Enjoys working as part of a close-knit team where ideas are welcomed
