Opportunity exists for a part-time (19 hour per week) permanent Senior Podiatrist at Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Hospital. The position is part of the High-Risk Foot clinic, and one of the days of work is required to be Tuesday.

Where you'll be working
Podiatry Department, Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Hospital. Please note that the position is also required to provide services within Community Health Centres within Northern Sydney Local Health District.
What you'll be doing
The Senior Podiatrist provides direct patient care, consultative services to endocrinology, and advises the health service on matters relating to podiatry. The Senior Podiatrist provides ongoing case management for patients.
The senior podiatrist requires high level clinical skills, knowledge and experience working with chronic care populations and within multidisciplinary
People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background encouraged to apply.
Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- Full registration with the Podiatry Board of Australia. Evidence of extensive clinical experience, with a minimum as a Level 2 Podiatrist.
- Demonstrated ability to initiate, lead, complete and share quality improvement activities or service evaluation process. Experience in clinical teaching and supervision of students, level 1/2 Allied Health Professionals and/or Allied Health Assistants.
- Demonstrated proficiency in ability to work autonomously with limited supervision. Have the ability to prioritise work, manage a demanding workload, apply high level reasoning skills and have independent professional judgement.
- Unrestricted Driver's licence.
