The Role
As a Data and Security Field Technician, you will be at the forefront of our operations, providing professional on-site support. You will be responsible for:
- Installations & Commissioning: Cabling, alarm systems, CCTV, and AV system setups.
- Technical Support: Troubleshooting, maintenance, and expert diagnostics.
- Diverse Scope: Working with data, security, access control, P2P, fiber optics, coax, Foxtel, and more.
What We Are Looking For
We need a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment:
- Qualifications: Open Registration License with B, S, C, & F competencies is essential.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year in cabling installation, along with proven experience in Security and Access Control Systems and alarm panels.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with routers, switches, and networking.
- Safety First: Strong knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) regulations.
- Professionalism: Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Assets: A Yellow Card is highly regarded; prior experience in the tech industry is a plus.
